Friends
and acquaintances held forever within the attic of my imagination. Here
we can see Frank Mumford cradling a puppet modelled exactly upon the form
of his late wife. Mick Jagger in full-lipped majesty, Joan Collins in
mid-scene glamour and an elderly lady frozen in personal reflection upon
the mouth of Mae West. One frame in the scheme of things. That's all that
we photographers hope for. I managed to capture them all. And if Gena
Dry wants a polar bear in the shot with her, who am I to argue? My self-portrait
included here illustrates an honest
moment of weakness and self-loathing.
